Privacy Policy
Effective June 30, 2026
01What information we collect
Tempo is a business-to-business service. The data central to our service is public business contact information - for example a company name, business phone, business address, website, publicly listed owner or decision-maker, and publicly available firmographic and activity signals (such as hiring posts, advertising presence, and government or registry records). This is information about businesses in their commercial capacity, not consumer personal data.
We also collect, directly from you:
- Contact details you submit through our sample-request or contact forms (name, work email, company, and the target market you describe).
- Account information if you become a client (billing contact, plan, and team members you invite).
- Usage and device data from our website (pages viewed, approximate region, referrer) collected through privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.
02How we use information
- To build, enrich, score, and deliver the lead lists our clients request.
- To respond to your sample requests and inquiries, and to operate and support your account.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To improve our data quality, scoring models, and the website.
- To send service and, where permitted, relevant business communications, each with a clear opt-out.
We do not use the business data we compile to make decisions about individuals in their personal capacity, and we do not build consumer profiles.
03Where business data comes from
Lead data is assembled from a stack of public and licensed business-data sources across the United States and Canada - business directories, public registries and filings, job boards, advertising libraries, and similar sources of commercial business signals. We compile and enrich this information; we do not purchase or resell consumer personal data.
If you are a business and want to know what business-contact information we hold about your company, or want it suppressed, see Your rights and Opt-out and do-not-contact below.
04Email and outreach compliance
Any outreach we send on our own behalf, or operate for a client, is conducted to comply with applicable anti-spam laws, including the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and Canada's CASL where it applies. That means:
- Accurate sender identity and a truthful subject line - no deceptive headers.
- A clear, working opt-out (unsubscribe) in every commercial message, honored promptly.
- A valid physical mailing address in each message.
- Sending from a verified domain with authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), with volume caps and warmup rather than bulk blasting.
Clients who run outreach using leads we deliver are responsible for their own compliance with these laws in their messaging. Our Terms of Service set out acceptable-use obligations.
05Your privacy rights (GDPR / CCPA basics)
To the extent data-protection laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) apply, individuals may have rights to:
- Access the personal data we hold about them and request a copy.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of their personal data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing.
- Opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined under California law. Tempo does not sell consumer personal data.
To exercise any right, email hello@tempoleads.com with the subject "Data Subject Request." We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
06Opt-out, suppression, and do-not-contact
You can ask us to stop contacting a business or individual and to suppress a record from future lists at any time. Two ways:
- Use the unsubscribe link in any message you received from us.
- Email hello@tempoleads.com with the address, domain, or company to suppress.
We maintain a persistent suppression list. Once a record is suppressed, we exclude it from future builds and deliveries.
08Data retention and security
We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, and reporting obligations, then delete or de-identify it. Suppression-list entries are kept for as long as necessary to honor an opt-out.
We protect data with industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege handling of administrative credentials. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to notify you of a material breach as the law requires.
09International transfers and children
We operate in the United States, and data we process may be stored and handled there and in Canada. Where we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards permitted by applicable law.
Tempo is a B2B service not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
10Changes and how to contact us
We may update this policy as our service or the law evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page, and where appropriate we will provide additional notice.
Questions, requests, or complaints: email hello@tempoleads.com or write to Seibs Management Co LLC, 2307 Ormond Ave, Panama City, FL 32405, USA.
